When we asked Coach Stephanie to share her pole journey, we knew her story would inspire our community. From discovering pole in a small South Carolina studio to creating one of the most popular pole training apps available today, Stephanie embodies exactly what we love about the pole community: dedication, growth, and the desire to lift others up.
From Student to Coach: A Journey of Constant Growth
"Hi friends! I'm a huge lover of the Zerone brand & am so honored to be featured here" Stephanie begins, and honestly, the honor is ours. "My name is Stephanie Tallant, though most of my students know me as Coach Steph. I'm a pole, flexibility, and movement coach, and the creator of the Pole with Steph App on iOS & Android."
Stephanie's pole journey started in 2014 at The Pole Academy in Greenville, SC, where she "immediately fell in love with the challenge, community, and constant opportunity to grow." Sound familiar? That's exactly the feeling we want every pole dancer to experience - and the right polewear plays a huge part in making that possible.

By 2017, Stephanie had begun her teaching journey, dedicating her career to helping students build strength, confidence, and consistency through intentional training and proper technique. Her favorite part about teaching? "Seeing my students accomplish something they once thought was impossible OR something they had in them all along, but just needed a small tweak in technique to unlock."
The Pole with Steph App: Making Quality Training Accessible
In 2021, Stephanie took her teaching to the next level by creating what's now known as the Pole with Steph App. Available on both iOS and Android devices, the app offers everything from structured pole tutorials and flexibility series to conditioning programs and direct feedback from Stephanie herself.
"My goal has always been to create a space that feels approachable, encouraging, and genuinely helpful, whether someone is working toward their first invert or refining advanced movement." she explains. The app includes:
- Structured pole tutorials
- Flexibility series and combo breakdowns
- Conditioning and gym training programs
- Community challenges and follow-along training
- Direct feedback and video assessment from Coach Steph

This commitment to making pole accessible and confidence-building aligns perfectly with our mission at Zerone. We believe that when you feel secure and comfortable in what you're wearing, you can focus entirely on your movement and growth.
Why Stephanie Chooses Zerone: The Comfort-Performance Connection
As someone who spends countless hours training, teaching, and creating content, Stephanie knows firsthand how crucial the right polewear is. "I've been wearing Zerone for years and genuinely love the balance of comfort, movement, and style your pieces offer." she shares.
Her reasoning hits on something we hear constantly from instructors and serious practitioners: "Pole dancers spend so much time upside down, sliding, gripping, training, and repeating movements over and over, so feeling secure and comfortable in what we wear matters so much."

For coaches like Stephanie who teach multiple classes, film content, and maintain their own training regimen, polewear needs to perform consistently across different activities. "Zerone has consistently been one of the brands I reach for both while teaching and training" she notes.
This is exactly why we designed collections like Selene and Zayra - pieces that transition seamlessly from teaching to training, offering the reliability that professional instructors need while maintaining the style and comfort that makes you feel confident.
The Teaching Perspective: What Instructors Want in Polewear
Having taught students at every level from beginner to advanced, Stephanie understands how polewear impacts not just performance, but confidence. When you're upside down demonstrating a move for the tenth time that day, or helping a student work through a challenging transition, your gear needs to stay put and keep you covered.
"One of my favorite parts of this work is connecting with students all over the world and helping them feel more confident in their bodies and training." Stephanie explains. This confidence-building aspect is something we think about constantly in our design process.

The pieces Stephanie gravitates toward - those classic, versatile sets that work for both teaching and training - reflect what we see many instructors choosing: Selene for its balanced coverage and reliable grip, Sora for its minimalist functionality, and Zayra for confidence-building coverage when working with newer students.
Building Community Through Movement
What strikes us most about Stephanie's approach is how she prioritizes community building alongside technical skill development. Through her app, live classes, and private lessons, she's created a global network of students who support each other's growth.
"I always say my students are my biggest inspiration" she reflects, and this sentiment embodies what we love about the pole community. It's not about competition or comparison - it's about showing up for each other and celebrating progress at every level.
This supportive approach extends to how coaches like Stephanie think about polewear recommendations for their students. Rather than pushing expensive gear on beginners, thoughtful instructors consider what will help each student feel confident and secure as they build their skills.
